When did music begin?Perhaps it all began with the dancing, drumming and chanting at religious ceremonies. Such rituals seem to stretch back towards the beginning of human consciousness. But, in the end, there is no way we can ever know for certain.Whatever its origins, music is one of the most important ways we have of giving expression to - and creating - emotion.
